Testimonials

These rails are a game changer. Install was quick using the factory holes, and I love how the anchors snap in and out with no fuss. My gear stays locked down on rough trails, and when the anchors are out, the rails sit flush so I can still slide lumber and boxes around

I haul bikes, kayaks, and camping gear every weekend. These tie-downs are solid, no rattling, no flex. The Type III anodized finish looks slick and hasn’t scratched up after months of use. Finally a product that matches Toyota quality.

I used to fight with bungee cords and finding places on my Tundra to tie down to. With VersaTrax rails, I can snap in anchors wherever I need them! I strap ladders, toolboxes, even a generator without worrying about shifting. Worth every penny.

The fact that these sit recessed into the bed is huge. I can load plywood sheets or furniture without catching edges. When I need anchor points, I just pop them in. When I don’t, it’s like they’re not even there.

You can tell this is 7075-T6 aluminum the moment you pick it up — way stronger than the typical stuff. I trust it when hauling expensive ATVs down rough backroads. Solid product, no B.S.

These rails just make sense. Clean look, tons of anchor options, and I don’t lose any space in the bed. Should’ve come from Toyota like this.

Frequently Asked
Questions

Will the rails fit if my truck has a spray-in bed liner?

Yes. The VersaTrax rails are designed to fit 2022+ Toyota Tacoma and 2024+ Toyota Tundra models even with spray-in liner. In some cases, you may need to cut the liner around the OEM bed bolt in order to remove. Rest assured, the rails will cover any exposed bed as the ends are wider than the washer on the bed bolt.

Do I need to drill into my truck bed?

No drilling is required. The rails use the existing factory bed mounting holes for installation, making the process clean and reversible.

What if the bed bolt holes don’t line up?

Occasionally, your Toyota truck bed may be misaligned - even from the factory. Usually loosening the surrounding bolts, adjusting the rail, and then tightening everything back down solves the issue. No bed modifications are typically needed.

Are the rails flush with the bed?

Yes. The VersaTrax rails sit fully recessed in the truck bed, so you can still slide in plywood, furniture, or other cargo without snagging on the rails.

How many anchor points can I use?

Each set of rails provides up to 12 anchor points every 1-inch. The anchor points snap into any hole along the track and can be removed or repositioned in seconds.

What material are the rails made from?

They are CNC-machined from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, which has nearly double the tensile strength of standard 6061-T6 aluminum. The rails are then Type III hard coat anodized for superior wear and corrosion resistance.

Can I leave the rails in year-round?

Absolutely. The anodized finish is built to handle all weather conditions, from road salt in winter to summer heat. They’re made to last and backed by a limited lifetime garentee.

Do the anchors rattle when driving?

No. The snap-in anchors are designed to lock firmly into place. When not needed, they can be removed quickly so your bed stays clutter-free.

Do you make rails for the long-bed?

Yes. We offer rails specifically designed for both standard and long-bed models. Long bed owners have the option to add an additional set of rails to the front of their bed near the cab. Be sure to select the front + rear set of rails to have a rail mounted in each corner providing maximum versatility for securing your cargo.

What tools are required for installation?

A basic ratchet with a T55 torx bit is required to remove and re-install the bed bolts on your Toyota truck.
